Bridging the Gap is a not for profit organisation committed to working with communities using a strengths based approach building relationships and strengthening families. This position is part time and requires a degree of flexibility. Families with children 0 - 10 years of age who are suffering disadvantage or vulnerability will be provided with support including integrated case management, home visiting and therapeutic interventions. Essential criteria: 1. Ability to work relationally. 2. Degree or working toward Post Grad qualifications in Social work, Counselling, Psychology or a related field. 3. Ability to work independently and under supervision. 4. Ability to work as a team member. 5. Current NSW drivers licence, class C and access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle. Desirable criteria: 1. Experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable families. 2. Case management experience. 3. Trained in PAT, Triple P or 123 Magic programs. 4. Ability to work flexible hours. 5. Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Email. Bridging the Gap will provide regular professional supervision sessions and is committed to caring for employees health and wellbeing.
